IT’S fast, it’s furious and it’s jaw-droppingly amazing to watch – get set for Freestyle Motocross as part of the entertainment at this year’s Liverpool International Horse Show.
Held at the Echo Arena on Liverpool’s iconic waterfront from December 28 to 31 the event is once again set for excitement on another level.
The show is committed to not only delivering world-class equestrian entertainment but also to offer a fantastic day out for all the family with both afternoon and evening performances that will have you sat on the edge of your seat and wanting more!
Following last year’s success this year’s show will once again host the awesome Arenacross Tour well known for their amazing stunts and jaw-dropping action. The team will lay down their best tricks featuring throughout every session.
FMX, or Freestyle Motocross, take the high-flying action of Motocross and lets it lose 40 feet above the track. Taking the sport to another level their performances are always geared up to wow the crowds with unbelievable Freestyle Motocross which is sure to get the adrenalin pumping.
Talented riders hit purpose-built ramps on specially modified dirt-bikes and then as if flying across a 50ft gap on a 100kg bike isn’t enough, they will attempt to out-do each other by performing tricks, flips and whips, all for your entertainment!
Due to the risky – some might even say downright crazy – nature of the sport, freestylers are highly paid sporting stars who compete in year-round competitions including the X Games, Red Bull X-fighters and the Arenacross World Tour.
Some of the insane tricks they perform have got to be seen to be believed.
